Chappell Hill Fire Department has a roster of 30 firemen; all volunteer their time and service to the community that we live in, as well as other communities nearby when requested. As a non-profit organization, we operate and rely mainly upon donations from you, your neighbors and others that generously give from the heart in the interest of the well being of the community as a whole. We also generate revenue from the Bluebonnet & Scarecrow Festivals and on the first weekend in May, our Fireman’s Festival and barbeque cook-off. Your community and your fire department appreciate all that you donate and we invite you, your family and friends to join us at any time. We are located 12 miles east of Brenham,Texas on hwy 290. We cover the largest Fire district in Washington county (approx.100 sq miles), and operate out of an 8 bay fire station which contains 7 trucks, two dedicated pumpers, two grass\brush trucks, one reserve pumper\grass truck. Also a 3,100 gallon tanker\tender and a 3,300 galon tanker\tender truck, A 2016 Polaris ranger 6×6 UTV with a 75 gallon skid unit, and a 2010 Chevy Tahoe Command vehicle.
